Artificial Intelligence Policy

 

 

The Iraqi Journal of Agricultural Research (IJAR) is committed to rigorous scientific publishing standards and ensuring the originality of published research. It welcomes the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools that enhance papers quality while maintaining integrity. Authors must considerate the following:

 

1. Authorship: The IJAR does not recognize AI tools (such as ChatGPT) as authors or co-authors. Paper must be the product of human intellect.

 

2. Originality of Content: The use of AI to generate entire sections of paper (introduction, results, discussion), create fake references or inaccurate citations, or manipulate images and graphs is prohibited.

 

3. Disclosure: Authors must transparently disclose the use of any AI tools in writing, language enhancement, data analysis, or assistance in structuring the literature review and formatting references in the Methodology section.

 

4. Responsibility: Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy of information, the originality of the text, and the absence of plagiarism resulting from the use of AI tools.

5. Cites Accuracy: Authors bear legal and ethical responsibility for any content (including falsification or bias) generated by AI tools.

 

6. Review: The IJAR reserves the right to review papers using AI detection tools and reject any paper that does not meet these standards.
