Abstract

The study aimed at determining the level of work stress of agricultural
researchers working in the Agricultural Research Office in general, determining
the level of work stress in each aspect of the study, determining the level of job
satisfaction of the agricultural workers who working in Agricultural Research
Office, and determining the relationship between the level of job stress and job
satisfaction. (55) researchers representing (60%) of agricultural researchers in
the Agricultural Research Office by purposive sample. The questionnaire used to
collect data by interview. The research resutls showed that the level of general
work stress is medium And the highest level of general job satisfaction is the
medium tendency to low. The results showed a neoative significant correlation
between work stress and job satisfaction. The study recommended that the need
to prepare training courses to develop the skills of agricultural researchers in the
face of the stress of work, and emphasis on the principle of incentives for
agricultural researchers.
