Abstract

The use of modern technology is one of the most important tools affecting
wheat productivity and profitability, Therefore, the research targeted
quantitative measurement The impact of modern technology on productivity and
profits Using the productivity index and the profit index and Minimum required
to increase productivity and total productivity of resources. The Experimental
Farms achieved a significant difference in productivity, where the average was(
867-1207) Kg / dunum, As well as the average profit has reached(191-373)
Thousand / dinars. The productivity index was measured and the technology
showed an increase in productivity (9.8-42.1)% , Using the profit index, the
farmer achieved an increase in profit (13.7 -88.6 ) % . The results of the
calculation of the minimum productivity required to cover the cost of technology
showed an increase of 3.2-7.8 times the required limit . The total productivity of
the resources showed that the technology achieved increased total productivity
by (9.58 - 41.93)%. The research recommended the provision of the studied
technology in numbers and quantities covering the actual need; as well as the
recommendation to intensify agricultural extension and field observations.
